Swim Party

Hannah went to her first swim party.  It was for a little girl that she dances with.  Hannah did really well in the water.  She was a little too brave if you ask me.  I thought I was going to have to jump in the water in my clothes a few times when she went too far out.  She is pretty tall and could touch  for the most part, but she hasn't taken a  swim class yet.  Can you guess what I will be doing tomorrow.......signing up my baby girl for lessons!!!!!!!!

Look at my cutie pie with the girls.

Valentines 2009

Hannah before her preschool Valentines Party!!!
My Mom and Dad got Connor this outfit (GO NOLES!!!!) last year.  We were thinking that it might be to big on him...we were wrong,  it fits perfect.  Thanks Mimmie and Gramps.

Are these not the cutest.  I have been looking for something like this for a while.  I'm so glad I found them.  Hannah and Connor woke up to find their cards and books inside.

What have we been up to

To say our house has been crazy that last couple of weeks would be an understatement.  This little boy has been very sick, you wouldn't tell it from the above pictures.  We started off last week with a little temperature after we woke up from our afternoon nap.  We took some motrin and went on with our day.  Later that night Connor got really fussy and wouldn't drink his bottle. His temp was 102.5 at that point.  I gave him another dose of motrin and held him downstairs for the next couple of hours...he cried whenever I laid him down in his crib.  He was like a little heating pad on my chest.  He never fell asleep and I held him until around 4a.m. and checked his  temp again and it was now 104. We finally fell asleep on the couch at around 4:30a.m. We went to the doctor and they did a rapid strep test on him and thankfully it was negative.  Turns out Connor had tonsillitis.  He started to get a little better  and then he broke out in a huge rash all over his body.  A week later we still have a runny nose and some sneezing, but bye bye temp.
My last post was about Hunter.  He is a little better, but still having pain in his hips.  We try to not let him go up and down the steps but he loves to go downstairs and lay in his crate.  We got him a huge pillow for inside his crate.  It will be a miracle if you doesn't chew it.  You would think that a ten year old dog would have outgrown the chewing stage...well think again!!!!!!

Pray for Hunter

This is Hunter our soon to be 10 year old 1st baby.  He is having a lot of pain and problems in his hips.  As you can see he is a big boy and this doesn't help.  He has been to the vet for blood work, x-rays, and very expensive medication.  They had to give him general anesthetic just so they could get the x-rays and blood work.  The verdict.... severe arthritis.   He is on two different medications.  He is harder than the kids to give medicine to.   If that wasn't enough I had him outside all day yesterday, because we had unseasonable warm weather (50's) and I went out to check on him and his face, nose and eyes were swollen.  It wasn't the medication because he has been on it for a while.  I think something bit him.  I called the vet and I gave him benadryl.  His face is much better today.  The swelling has gone away and he is now just sleeping off the benadryl on my kitchen floor.  Please say a little doggie prayer that the medication works for his pain.  Thanks

Chuckie Cheese, Dinner, and Birthday #2

We headed to one of Hannah's favorite places for her actual birthday (Jan 23), Chuckie Cheese!!!!  We played some games, chased Connor around until we were out of breath, and then went to the counter and claimed our prizes, 2 rings and a bracelet that broke before we were all back in the car.  (What do you think about Hannah's hair, I straightened it with my flat iron.  I thought it looked so cute, I'm so used to seeing her curls.)
Hannah is actually pretty good at this game.
Hannah kept saying Mommy "they are going to arrest Connor for climbing up on the table"
Get a good look while you can because this was the only time that Connor was not running somewhere that afternoon.

The cake table at our house.
Look at this cake..isn't it the cutest??  We have the best cake maker.  She has been doing our cakes the last 4 years.

We had the servers at Red Robin sing to Hannah.  She was so surprised that they knew it was her birthday.
We had a second small B-Day party at our house.  Hannah with all her loot.
This I-Dog is the cutest.  It dances to music.  Thanks Mimmie and Gramps.
Hannah is crazy in love with pet shops.
My own computer.  Yippie!!!!!!!!  This will be a good learning computer.  I was playing with it in the store before I bought it.
Thanks for celebrating with us for Hannah's 5th B- Day.  She loves all her wonderful gifts.  Mommy Daddy and Connor love you so much baby.  We can't wait to celebrate many many more birthdays with you.

Pump it Up Birthday Party #1

Hannah took Mimmie down the slide with her.
Daddy and Connor Jack.  I couldn't believe he wasn't crying when he came off the slide.
We asked Hannah were she wanted to have her 5th Birthday and she picked Pump it Up.  She has been to around 4 or 5 parties here for friends and she just loves this place.

A 5 year old Birthday Princess!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Hannah's new shirt that I ordered from Etsy.  I am a little obsessed with monogramming right now.
I can't believe that my little girl is now 5 years old.   I remember so clearly bringing her home from the hospital in one of the worst ice storms 5 years ago.  She has changed my life more than words can say.  I love you babe so much!!!!!!!!

This is our 10 year old big baby boy Hunter.  He knows that he is not allowed to sleep in the dining room, but any and every time he can he sneaks in there..........
and this is what I find when I come around the corner.

Snow Day Fun

We had a huge snowstorm last week and Hannah wanted to go sled riding,  so we got bundled up and out we went.  Here we go up the hill.  Hunter actually thought he was going to get a turn on the sled.
This was right after she snuck up on me and got me with a snowball.  I would never get her back with one......would I??

Here comes Hannah
